Finnair will be the 1st European airline to start flying with Airbus A350XWB. The carrier has decided when it will take place and on what lines the aircraft are to be deployed.

Finnair has defined the delivery date for the first A350-900: it will be on 16/August/2015.

This aircraft (MSN18) will service initially few European destinations as training-flights for pilots and cabin crew.

Sales for Finnair A350 flights are starting on 9/April.
And from October/2015, probably in connection with the winter timetable, the A350 will start longhaul flights.

The debut of the A350 will be with flights to Shangai and later to Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Finnair is preparing the Entry Into Service of the new A350 family and according to the latest data, the deliveries are scheduled as follows:
· First 4 aircraft in the second half of 2015.
· 7 aircraft in 2016 and 2017
· Last 8 aircraft -recently converted options- between 2018 and 2023.

Finnair has configured the A350 in 3 classes interior with a total of 297 seats: 46 business, 43 economy comfort and 208 economy seats.

Finnair maintains the possibility to retain some A330 to increase the capacity to brand new destinations in the route network.
