South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines has agreed a sale/leaseback with Japanese lessor SMBC for four A350 XWB aircraft, including pre-delivery payment (PDP) financing, according to an airline source.

The tenor of the financing is 12 years. Law firm Milbank is representing Asiana on the deal.

The aircraft will be delivered in 2017. Asiana has 30 of the aircraft type on order.

ReplyDeleteWill possibly be 20 by end of year as ramp up is on schedule. Also msn 2 to 5 will be sold.
ReplyDeleteJust seen the latest announcement,17 in final assembly. Thats really good news because it shows Airbus is confident about the Aircraft and bodes well for further orders.
