A350 line maintenance capacity being developed in China


Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation, Beijing (Ameco Beijing) is currently carrying out the Airbus A350 aircraft type training, in preparation for an international customer's line maintenance.

Besides, Ameco Beijing has partnered with this regular customer for line maintenance on B787 Dreamliners and A380 aircraft for several years.


Ameco Beijing has already made reworks on Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa´s A380s.



This year Ameco Beijing has undertaken an increasing number of third-party line maintenance services, which occupies nearly 50% at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK)'s market share.


From January to August, Ameco has signed new agreements with 8 international customers, and the number of third-party international customers has reached 70.


Based in Beijing, Ameco has outstations for line maintenance in eight cities dotted in Tianjin, Qingdao, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Guangzhou.


Its line maintenance for aircraft type covers Boeing and Airbus series, including the latest B787 Dreamliners and A350 airliners.


Ameco Beijing is a joint venture between Air China (60%) and Lufthansa German Airlines (40%).

  1. Everything comes from China,give a decade or so and Airbus or Boeing will be owned by the Chinese-what a thought.
