50 deliveries in 2016. No deliveries in January, and few deliveries in February. That basically leaves 10 months to deliver 50 airplanes, so an average of 5/month. We'll see how it goes in December.
Deliveries are being held up by Zodiac and its inability to meet targets. Sadly Airlines order from Zodiac, so it leaves Airbus between a rock and a hard place. Boeing suffered 6/8 months delay on the 787 due to Zodiac-even parking the assembled aircraft in the desert! So as far as deliveries go,its all down to Zodiac.
Going by this site (sites.google.com/site/a350xwbproduction/production-list) Airbus has delivered not one single A350 this year. It shows fifteen delivered thus far,14 from last year and the late delivery of 2013. So all is going well then. Can everybody remember back in 2013 when we were all a little concerned as to progress. Well Airbus is actually ahead of the game. The rotten apple in all this,is as unknown says- Zodiac.
According to Aus.Business Traveller Singapore Airlines gets its first delivery of a A350 on March2-that will be the first this year! Oh and Singapore Airlines did not want Zodiac seats, now there's a surprise!
Yes I agree Anonymous, I have asked another website to start a blog, maybe they will. Its 'sites.google.com/site/a350xwbproduction/production-list' Quite a good website, see what you think.
A popular gaming website called Reviersport offers a great experience by offering a variety of news, updates, and analyses from the vast world of sports. Whether it's the thrill of football, the elegance of basketball, the savagery of racing, or the strategic skill of esports, it doesn't matter.
twitter is useless
ReplyDeleteWhy add this twitter stuff? Either close this blog down or do it properly.

ReplyDeleteTo show Airbus is ahead of the game; there 31 A350's in FAL and 5 in Flightline. Makes you wonder where Aibus will store them all!
